Object Detail

Description
S.T. Nolan built this caravan for himself, something that was quite a novelty in the immediate post-war years. The Nolan Building houses S.T. Nolan motor trimmers; Bond & Bond Ltd., electrical appliance retailers; and Zillwood Motors Ltd. A barely legible sign on the first floor reads "Marine Department". To the right is Grey & Menzies which was on the corner of Hood & Anglesea Streets.
