Description
Buildings (clockwise) are Norwich Union Insurance; CML; Ford Motors, low white facia corner Garden Place & Alexandra Street; National Insurance (clock); the under construction Telephone Exchange; T & G; Hamilton City Council municipal buildings; MLC, some time known as Victoria Insurance; NZI, sometime known as British Traders building; and the Dominic Building. The streets either side of Garden Place carpark were known as Garden Place. In the foreground is the Hamilton Astronomical Society's sundial.
