Description
This photo shows the railway bridge that took the railway line over River Road before the line was lowered and the overpass was constructed. The subway it created gave the Subway Buildings their name. Work on lowering the railway line began towards the end of 1959. There is advertising on the side of the bridge for Reidrubber Tubes and Tyres
