Photographed before his wedding to Charlotte Elizabeth Ednana Brown on 12 December 1899. Douglas was son of Rev George Douglas of Edinburgh. He died 23.3.1943. Charlotte Brown was the daughter of Thomas William Brown, a timber merchant of Auckland.
