Description
J.R. Fow was prominent in Hamilton business and local government (he served several periods as mayor). He was active in church affairs, being a Methodist lay preacher and campaigned against the evils of drink. The scrapbook includes clippings and photographs about him, his contemporaries and Hamilton. Notes on the Fow family and a family tree by Logan Fow are also included.
