Description
Workers from local businesses, including Booth & Chapman and Ellis & Burnand, parade south along Victoria Street. In this photograph they are passing Ward Street, which is out of shot on the left. The large house near the centre is the Westcourt private hotel. To the right of this is the entrance to Almadale, also a private hotel. King's Pictures can be seen on the far left.
