Twenty five women workers of the C.A.C. Ltd Hamilton factory take a break. Fifth from right is Nita Jones (later Nita Black) and seventh from right is her sister Patty Jones (later Patty Harper.

I just stumbled across this picture of the workers taking a break, and see my mother Patty Jones, 7th from the right, plus her sister Nita Jones. They would have been barely 20 years old and rode their push bikes from Charlmont street to Gallaway St in all weather and darkness. Their father Andrew (Kuku) and sister Olive also worked there.
