Description
The Patriotic Hut in Garden Place was built from an Ellis & Burnand 'Ready to Erect Cottage.' This photograph was taken looking north-west with Pascoe's Building on the right.'Centreway Dining & Tearooms' was located upstairs and a beauty salon downstairs. To the left is Juvenile Band Box, a children's clothing store originally located on Victoria Street. Next to this shop was a butchers. This building was previously Garden Place Motors.
