Description
Looking about south west from the telephone exchange on the corner of Caro & Anglesea Streets. Lower right foreground is part of Collingwood Street between Anglesea St & Milton St (now Tristram Street) below the block of flats on the right.In the centre is part of Pembroke Street. Left of centre is the gasworks showing the gas holder & the retort. The reservoir on Ruakiwi Road is top right.
