Description
A bulldozer at work clearing the site after the fire that took place two months earlier. Buildings on the river side of Victoria Street, between Claudelands Road and Bryce Street, were damaged or destroyed. The Rural Bank building, at left, was one of those damaged. In the final stages of demolition is Days Building, which was on the corner of Claudelands Road and Victoria Street. It housed "Bridge 500", a stationery and book shop.
