Description

Looking due north at Kent Street intersection with King Street. On the right is Maeroa Automotive Ltd garage. The company was mainly engine reconditioners hence the large posters along the Kent Street side advertising Repco cylinder liners, Repco pistons and Repco piston rings. In the distance shops and businesses include Reese-Run Roofing and Bryan L. Williams Ltd. (Engineers, Cycle sales, Lawnmower specialists and saw doctors.) Note the poor condition of the road.

My dad owned Maeroa Automotive in 1987 to 2006 & had different staff over the years , served his apprentership there
