Description
The Hamilton Railway station in Ward Street. It was built in 1879. Another station at Frankton was originally called Hamilton Station in 1877. The station was in use until the railway was lowered in 1961. This photo was taken just before its removal to the Waikato University in Hillcrest Road where it was used as a Senior Common Room. It is now a cafe and restaurant.
