Description
Andrew Strachan Brewis, Andrew's mother Mrs Avril Hume Brewis (nee Strachan), and Murray Tilsley Nolan pose with two cars on Pembroke Street. Mrs Brewis was married to Edward Cecil Brewis, a grandson of Dr Andrew Seymour Brewis. Edward Cecil was also a physician. Edward and Avril lived at number 106 Pembroke Street (formerly 54 Pembroke Street). The vintage car on the left is a c. 1910 Ford Model T and the 'new' car is a Humber Super Snipe of 1951/1952.
