Description
The construction of a culvert in a gully on Ulster Street. It was to carry the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream under the road enabling the joining of Gurnell Avenue and Ulster Street. Ulster Street would then go from Liverpool Street to Forest Lake Road. The culvert has been covered and a new road is taking shape at the right hand side. On the left of the culvert we can see construction vehicles. The stream is visible at the entrance to the culvert.
