Description
The construction of a culvert to carry the Waitawhiriwhiri Stream under the road enabling the joining of Gurnell Avenue and Ulster Street. Ulster Street was then to be taken from Liverpool Street to Forest Lake Road. In the gully the construction of the culvert has started, there is a tractor in the background and a truck at the left hand side. Work huts are at the side of the works. At the right in the background is the Forest Lake Reservoir.
