Description
The Hamilton railway Station at the time of excavation for the lowering of the railway line. Earthworks are in the centre. Behind the station at the left is the Horse Bazaar and above them are the curved tops of the William Paul and Bledisloe Halls. These three buildings were part of the Waikato Winter Show. At the left in the background is the top of the MLC building on the corner of Garden Place, in the centre the top of the National Insurance Building and at the right is the Hamilton City Council Building. The building at the far right is the Hamilton Hardware store and above that the hill to the Hamilton Technical College can be seen. There are many cars parked at the station.
