Description
This view is looking almost south west to Dinsdale and beyond to what is now known as Western Heights. The house at the very left of the image, now 39 Queens Avenue, is Chateau Windermere, or the "Jolly House". It was the home of Francis (Frank) Bertrand Jolly, who Frankton was named after. The house was modelled on the plan of the Jolly home in Bath, England.
