Description
Looking along London Street towards Victoria Street from opposite Barton Street. On the far corner of London Street and Victoria Street is the Hamilton North branch of the Post Office. Behind this is offices of Newton King Ltd. On the near corner of London Street and Victoria Street, and on London Street, are NZ Co-Op Dairy Co. buildings. The four storey building on London Street was newly-built around 1960. Business in the smaller blocks include Linda Morgan Fashion Salon, London Beauty Salon, and a hairdressers. The building visible on the corner of London Street and Barton Street was at this time occupied by Federated Farmers.
