Description
Aerial view along Victoria Street at its centre. View from Bridge Street (now Anzac Parade) in the south, to the Fairfield Bridge in the north. Knox Street is the first street running left from Victoria Street. It joins with Anglesea Street just out of the photo. On the east side of the river, River Road is prominent. The then Hamilton borough is yet to develop beyond Boundary Road.
