Description
Bisley's Buildings were on the corner of Ward and Alexandra Streets. They housed the business of A.M. Bisley & Co. grain and seed merchants. They were also insurance and land agents as well as general merchants. In the mid-sixties the business had ceased and the building was demolished. Ward Street is on the left, Alexandra building is on the right. A large crane is present. The Bank of New Zealand can be seen centre right in Victoria Street.
