Description
Situated at the south end of Victoria St the pools comprised initially one large pool. Later, a smaller shallow pool was built to the right of the large pool. the rear of the building completely visible in this image was an extension to the offices in the 1905 Hamilton Borough Council which originally included an auditorium. This section was left in situ after the rest of the offices and auditorium were demolished in 1967. The pools closed in 2012 due to earthquake safety concerns.
