Description
The 'Carnegie' library (1908) is to the left of the Chief Post Office (1940) on the opposite side of Victoria Street. The low-profile concrete building in the foreground is the 'Gentlemen's underground lavatory'. Alexandra Street intersects in the foreground. The church in the background (left) is St Andrews in Claudelands on River Road in Claudelands.
