Description
Looking south from the Courthouse lawn, showing the Bridge Street (now ANZAC Parade) to Cobham Drive roundabout. Streets are (clockwise from left); Bridge Street (now ANZAC Parade), Anglesea Street, Cobham Drive, Anglesea Street (extreme right). See also HCL_04593. The bus is a New Zealand Railways Road Services vehicle. Railways operated a fleet of such buses nationwide. A van left of centre is C B Norwood Ltd, a nationwide company which was N.Z. agent for Massey Ferguson tractors and farm equipment. in front of the van is a 1956 Chevrolet BelAir. Direct opposite is a 1958 BelAir. Coming off Anglesea Street is a Triumph Herald.
