A view from opposite the Waikato Winter Show buildings on Ward Street. The main entrance to the show is centre right into the Horse Bazaar. Other permanent buildings at the back also housed the show. The top of the William Paul Hall can be seen at the left of the Horse Bazaar. The small building on the left is the Public Relations Office and then a ticket office which has a Tip Top Trumpet ice cream and waffle cone on top. Cars are parked nearby; On the left is a partly obscured Renault Dauphine, parked on Ward Street at the foreground is a Rambler Classic and an Austin A55/A60 Cambridge Estate across the road. It has an advert for 'Rothmans Pall Mall' cigarettes on the side. The car at the right behind the 'No Exit' sign is a Hillman Minx MK1 saloon. The sign above the entrance says "Waikato Winter Show, Hamilton, N.Z. - Our goal is never reached"
