Looking across Ward Street we can see the Waikato Winter Show buildings. At the left on Alexandra Street is the William Paul Hall built especially for the show. At the end of the hall along Ward Street is the Horse Bazaar with the entrance at the right of the picture. At the front of the Horse Bazaar is a smaller building. This was the Hamilton Public Relations building. Between this building and the entrance is a model Tip Top Trumpet ice cream cone. Several cars are parked on the roadsides. We can just see the top of the Bledisloe Hall behind the Horse Bazaar. This and other buildings formed the show buildings which were home to many events, sports and meetings.
