Description
The opening of the new pavilion of the Whitiora Bowling Club. "The club has made rapid progress since its inception three years ago. Starting on a small green of four rinks on Mr Mitchell's private grounds, the club today numbers 90 members, has the premier green in the Waikato, and has just completed the erection of a large and handsome two-storied pavilion, the work of which has been carried out graciously by the members of the club."
