Buildings are (clockwise): Norwich Union Insurance (building remains 2011 - shops below, offices above), Colonial Mutual Life, Ford Motors (low white fascia, corner of Garden Place & Alexandra Street), National Insurance (with clock), Telephone Exchange under construction, T & G, Hamilton City Council municipal buildings, MLC, building unknown, NZ Insurance Co (was British Traders Insurance for some time), Dominic Buildings, Woolworths, Pascoes (not in view but knitwear shop is in Pascoe's building). Also visible in the image are cars, buses and bicycles. The Anglesea St Wall is in the background
