Description
Two men, one pushing a bicycle, walk southwards along Victoria Street past the public library. By this time Victoria Street has tarmac and stone kerbing. This image is from Hamilton at a Glance (1925), p.25. The library was opened in 1908 and after moving the library to the new minicipal chambers in 1960 the building was demolished in 1961.
