Description
The Royal car cavalcade makes its way south along Victoria Street. This was part of the Royal Tour of 1953-1954. The Queen and Prince Philip stayed overnight in Hamilton at the Hamilton Hotel. Buildings visible on the left include Kings Chambers and Kings Buildings; Booth & Chapman; the South British Insurance Building; the Bank of New South Wales building; the Regent Theatre; and the Chief Post Office. On the right are the Railway Buildings.
