The tanker and all Plume distribution in Hamilton and surrounds belonged to Frank Farrell - this is a delivery to his garage (out of shot to the left) known as Farrell's Garage. In shot is Tombs' Garage on Collingwood Street who sell Voco, Big Tree and Plume petrol. The sign on the globe on the left states 'Filtered Petrol'. Tombs were Ford truck dealers and Studebaker car dealers. The business was later Reo Motors. The Commercial Hotel is the wooden building to the right of the garage. See HCL_00179.
