Description
Tom Slade's carriage and blacksmith works was located on the southern corner of Grey Street and Bridge Street. When Tom died in January of 1906, his wife, Amy Eddy Slade, took over the lease of Lot 8 where the business was located. Pictured from left are; an unknown gentleman, Garnie Coombs, Toby Mayes, Sam Meachem, Fred Johnson and Jonnie Ryan.
