Description
People enjoy a day at Hamilton Lake (Lake Rotoroa). Work on improving the Lake Domain halted during World War II but began again in the 1950s when local groups and businesses became involved. Paths were made, sand brought in and play equipment was donated. The trees in the background were removed in the 1950s to facilitate yachting.
