Description
Harry Hardley's Claudelands Store, a grocery, on the northeast corner of Heaphy Terrace (now Grey Street) and Te Aroha Street. The shop was taken over by Mr Herbert Gadd in the early 1920s. Mr Gadd sold the store in the 1950s. The house next door to the store on Te Aroha Street is said to be Harry Hardley's. At the time this photograph was taken Te Aroha Street was part of Claudelands township becoming part of Hamilton Borough in 1912.
