Description
Hamilton - Victoria Street. Felling big pine tree at "Lodge". Bystanders watch as a large pine tree is felled at the front of W A Graham's property, known as 'The Lodge'. The gates to the property are on the left in the mid-ground. The land on which the tree is about to fall is now occupied by the Public Trust building. Also visible in the image on the right is Shaw's Garage. Shaw's was a service depot for Buick and Hudson vehicles.
