Looking about south west at Dalgleish & Co livery & bait stables which were next to the Commercial Hotel which is being built in this picture. Photo includes men on horses and a horse and buggy. Signwriting on building frontage shows Saddle Horses & Buggies for Hire; Coaches Meet All Trains; Hamilton Horse Bazaar; Livery & Bait Stables". A (probably) water drawing windmill is behind the building."
