Description
Looking southeast on a telephoto lens from about the Dairy Company building on the corner of Victoria & Ward Streets. Te Awamutu to Hamilton bus leads the way. Many cars visible are new postwar models introduced around or after 1947. A lone Ford Consul introduced in England in 1950 shows on the lower right dating this photo to 1951. Wisemans on the left was in the former Cadman's Parking Garage (now The Londoner).
