Description
Mayor, John Robert Fow and Town Clerk, William Lindo Waddel, signing vouchers while staff look on. (Waddel was Town Clerk from 1927 to 1960.) Standing centre is James (Jim) Baird who was sometime an assistant engineer, Borough Engineer and later a councillor. (Baird designed the Bledisloe Hall which is now at Mystery Creek).
