Description
The Carrick Nisbet Building on the eastern corner of Hood & Alexandra Streets. The businesses are, from left: The National Electrical & Engineering Co. Ltd.; Carrick Nisbet, battery & electrical service; Miss Staines' dressmaking school; Goodyear tyres & tubes; and Speedy Vulcanising Depot. The building probably abuts the Bank of New Zealand garden which is out of shot to the right.
