Description
Electric Construction Co. of NZ Ltd., 'Automotive & Radio Engineers' with a 'Willard Drive Through Station' (Willard was a well known UK radio manufacturer – the company still exists in the UK). Note the man bent over the engine bay presumably repairing engine electrics. This building is on the corner of Alexandra & Collingwood Streets. The site was later occupied by the Farmers Department store and a multi storey carpark and office block which extends along Alexandra Street beyond the adjoining building on the left.
