Description
Looking west from the Victoria Street end. On the right (north) side of the street is the Salvation Army Hall and James J. Niven & Co. Ltd. engineers. J.J. Niven occupies the dark building with three gables and the adjacent white building. Beyond these buildings is a sign for 'Europa Lube'. Europa was, until the mid-1980s, a well-known New Zealand petroleum brand.
