Description
This view is looking about east. The power poles/transformer are on the south east corner of Collingwood and Anglesea Street. Facing Anglesea Street is S.J. Jenkinson's 'Repairs and Lubricating Service'. Barlow's Ice Cream and Milk Blocks are sold at the left end facing Collingwood Street. The petrol bowsers (pumps) are Europa, a New Zealand owned oil business until 1989. To the left facing Collingwood Street is Hunter's furniture shop.
