Description
The southern side of Collingwood Street. The building on the left is Wesley Chambers. In the single storey building are the following businesses: C. & T. Motors Ltd.; Waikato Farmers Supply Stores Ltd. - the shop looks vacated and the sign below the veranda reads Donovan's Garage; and the partly-obscured frontage is that of D. McL. Wallace Ltd., the local concessionaire for Singer, Wolseley and Rover cars and Federal trucks. The small car in front is a 1937/1939 Austin 10/4.
