Description
The programme for a concert given by the rather grandly named Hamilton Orpheus Grand Opera and Choral Society, at St Peter's School, Cambridge, on Wednesday, 2nd December 1959. The choir performed the cantata Sleepers Awake, by JS Bach, and the oratorio Stabat Mater by A Dvorak. The choir also presented the same works at two concerts in early November 1959, one at St Peter's Cathedral and the second at St Paul's Methodist Church, London Street.
