Description
Viewed about south west from about the public library. On the left, mostly obscured, is the road up the hill. In the foreground from left to centre is the 'Rosery'. The small telephone kiosk is Garen Place Taxis as are the two cars parked alongside. In the foreground on Victoria Street is a 1930s 'experimental' pedsetrian crossing. Note near top of photo, a sole street lights hangs across the centre of the street.
