Description
The programme of the first concert given by the reorganised Hamilton Choral Society, a performance of Handel's Messiah at the New Strand Theatre in December 1922. First established in late 1877, the Society closed down and re-formed several times, the 1922 incarnation being led by Dame Hilda Ross.
