Description
An advertising leaflet for a closing down sale for B. Totman's footwear business. Basil Totman purchased the boot and shoe business known as the Golden Gate Boot Shop from Mr T.H. Tidd of Hamilton in 1909. In 1914 it was advertised as the "Golden Gate" Boot Palace. By 1918 Totman seemed to be trading under his own name. He imported the British- made Crockett & Jones' Health Footwear. This leaflet was included in issues of the Waikato Times in June 1927.
