Description
King's Chambers and half of King's Buildings. Between 1911 and 1922 the King's Chambers was home to King's Theatre. In the Chambers at street level is a 24 Hour Cafe and The Liverpool & London & Globe Insurance Co. Ltd. There is also signage for Allan Bryce, Chiropractor; Gaze & Co., Photographers; and Miss Drake, Public Typist. Upstairs is H.C.M. Norris, Barrister & Solicitor; and P.O. Bonham & Co., Stock Buyers. Businesses in the part of King's Buildings that is visible include Times Book Club; Taylor's Emporium; and H J Grimmer & Co., nurserymen. Upstairs is the International Correspondence School.
