Description
King's Buildings is on Victoria Street opposite Ward Street. To the right is the Booth & Chapman building. Shops in the King's Buildings at street level include H.J. Grimmer Florist; Tisdalls Sports Depot; Hamilton Restaurant; and Norman & Clarke. Businesses upstairs include Van Dene Studios and Miss Gammin Model Dressmaker. The Central Butchery is at street level in the Booth & Chapman building. A sign on top of the building says 'Fitwell Teeth' and a sign on the front of the building says 'Wallpapers'. The small motorcar is most probably an Austin 7 Ruby introduced in 1937.
