Object Detail

Description
The Hamilton Baptist Church in London Street being demolished. Fixtures and fittings had been removed. From the painted writing on the walls and columns we can see that some items were sold and that there was free firewood available. A large crane on the left is removing the turret from the top of the church. An empty Miami Furniture and Bedding truck is parked by the crane with the back open. Several cars are parked on London Street including one belonging to Brian Millen auctioneering and Real Estate. At the right in front of the trees is a skip with "Davies for Jumbo bins" on the side.
