Description
One horse two wheeled cart signwritten on front end of side panel, 'E Woodward, Carrier' over which is a small plate stating 'HBC Licensed 25'. A descendant advised: 'E Woodward started working as a contractor to Hamilton Borough Council. Woodwards depot used to be behind Findlay's Bakery in Collingwood/Alexandra Streets. He was also Waikato agent for Glen Afton Collieries and later New Zealand Express [a nationwide cartage company]. His company was E Woodward Ltd.
